Bringing together those in the legal fraternity in the Eastern Cape to network and socialise, was the objective for this connecting event in December 2023. Old Greys and Parents who are professionals in the field of Law were invited to attend and we were delighted with the turnout. In addition, an advisory session allowed current Grey boys and students to learn about legal studies and careers, and those in the fraternity enjoyed sharing their experiences and advice.
Hosted by Judge Avinash Govindjee (Matric 1994 and member of The Grey Foundation Board), this event was valuable and beneficial to both those in the profession and those who are interested in pursuing a legal career.
We are delighted that this way of connecting the Grey community by profession and industry has gained interest and we intend to broaden to other cities and professions.
