Patrick Fleming ‘65 and Keith Butler-Wheelhouse ’63, two Trustees of The Grey Foundation UK, visited The Grey on 22 February to meet with some of their bursary recipients.
The boys enjoyed the opportunity to share their news and interests, as well as their plans for tertiary studies. This engagement was especially valuable as Keith and Patrick also shared their guidance and experiences in the business world and tips on how to achieve success in the workplace.
“The time spent with the Rector is always informative to better understand the challenges facing the school. Similarly for the Old Grey and Grey Foundation support. The meeting with the bursary boys was most interesting and school psychologist, Melissa Riordan, helped to illustrate their progress. Hopefully the boys enjoyed the time as well.”

The Grey Foundation UK is a significant supporter of the Bursary Programme and has supported 42 boys through the school, of whom 13 are current students. Old Greys in the UK donate via the trust, either through annual donations or monthly standing orders. This collective contribution has enabled many deserving boys the opportunity of an education at Grey High School, which they would otherwise not have had. Contributions to the UK Bursary Fund can be made here.
Our sincere thanks to Patrick and Keith for visiting us, and for the continued support shown by all our UK Trustees.
