Since 1997, Brent, father of an Old Grey (2017) and current Grade 11 Grey Boy and keen golfer, has been the Managing Directory of Finmap Financial Services (Pty) Ltd. He is also a committee member of the Financial Planning Institute of the Eastern Cape. 

Profile :

Brent completed his initial tertiary education at the University of Port Elizabeth where he achieved his BComm Degree. Brent is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and completed the CFP Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning in 2002 and CFP Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning in 2003 at the University of Orange Free State, the leading tertiary institution in South Africa for financial planning studies. Having always been interested in financial markets, Brent included the disciplines of investment planning and portfolio management in his Advanced Diploma Studies.

With his financial qualifications and experience gained whilst working in Germany analysing and consulting on government bonds and South African financial rand opportunities, Brent focuses on providing his clients with a comprehensive financial planning, and asset management service. Working closely with each of his clients, he identifies their financial goals and draws up a plan according to which those goals can be met. His passion for people and numbers give him the ability to develop the right financial solution for the right client. He keeps a close eye on his client's financial well-being, ensuring that they have the best possible opportunities to fulfil their financial dreams.
